About James&Co: Plastic-Free Bags Since 2012
James&Co is an Australian business that makes cosmetic bags, toiletry bags, purse mirrors and reusable shopping bags without plastic or leather. It was founded in 2012 and works through three brands, each built around one material. James&Co makes bags from washable paper, CORKSTORE makes bags and mirrors from FSC-certified cork, and Earth Totes makes bags from eco canvas and organic cotton.
The business started with vegan jackets and accessories and later stopped using synthetic "vegan leather", because it is made from plastic. Every product now uses a plant-based material, and every product is vegan. Products are packed with paper labels and tags and shipped in paper or cardboard, with no plastic.
Our Earth Totes eco string mesh net bags are totally unique and an updated version of the original string bags.
