How to Clean a Washable Paper Bag

Washable paper bags can be washed in a washing machine at up to 40 °C, or by hand with mild soap, warm water and a soft brush or cloth. Empty the bag and open the zip or fold-over closure first, then let it dry naturally, away from direct heat, so the inside dries as well.

The material softens and creases a little with use and washing, which is part of how it looks over time. Washable paper is water-resistant, so everyday splashes in a bathroom or suitcase can be wiped off with a damp cloth without a full wash.
